Important Info About the 2008 parade
The South Bay St. Patrick’s Day Committee has transferred the control and production of the St Patrick’s Day parade to the city of Hermosa Beach.
IMPORTANT: Unlike previous years, the city of Hermosa Beach will NOT be providing free parking or shuttle busses at Mira Costa or any other location.
At this point the plan is for a one day parade only event on Saturday March 15th, 2008, and a stage with musical entertainment. There are no plans for vendor space or other festival components as we have had in the past.

We can no longer answer questions regarding the event via this website. We plan to keep this site active though the 2008 event.

2007 Parade and Festival
The 2007 South Bay St. Patrick's Day Parade was held on Saturday, March 17th in Hermosa Beach California. The parade stepped off(start) at the intersection of Valley and Pier avenue at 11:00 AM, proceeded west down Pier to Hermosa Avenue and then South on Hermosa where it disbanded on Eighth Street. The festival took place on Saturday and Sunday March 17th and 18th. The parade and festival were free to the public as always.

Free parking is located at Mira Costa High School 701 S. Peck Avenue in Manhattan Beach. A free shuttle will run between the event area and parking from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM both Saturday and Sunday.
The festival will include a Kiddy Carnival, A Petting Zoo, a international food court, at least 45 vendors, Irish dancing and music..more. So please join us!

Welcome to the virtual home of the South Bay St. Patrick's Day Committee. We produce a St. Patrick's Day parade and festival in Hermosa Beach, California.
This is a new web site and host, so please give us a chance to work out the bugs (and correct typos) .
2006 will mark our 12th annual parade, and it will take place on Saturday, March 18th.
